Three new videos!

How's it going? We at Froob Entertainment have produced three more videos for your viewing pleasure!

I figure I'll start off with posting our most impressive video first. In this video, dubbed "Forgiveness - DrPepper Style" (we promise, this will be the last video we make about DrPepper) we were faced with a new challenge: create a video set to a theme for a chance to win $100. The theme was obviously forgiveness, so Phillip and I created this new movie. While we didn't win the contest (we have no idea what the winning video looked like.) we still believe that it's a true masterpiece and it's worth your checking out!

The next two videos were class projects. Street Car Named Desire was created for Phillip's class. While I wasn't directly involved with this production, it's still considered a FEV production. This is actually the first video created using our new Fire Wire capable computer! I encourage you to check it out as well!

Finally we come to Missing - Lost Parody (YouTube link). This is actually a machinima project created for my Intro to Video Game Studies class at BRCC. We used the MMORPG game Anarchy Online to create it, and FRAPS to record it. It took a total of five hours to record, and several weeks to get the audio! However, after my teacher gave me an 'A', it was well worth the effort.

That's about all that's happening with FEV. The filming for "I Play Dead" has been postponed until further notice. Also, we tried to re-film our movie "Transition", however, due to erm- technical difficulties, that has been postponed as well. It actually is working out in our favor, because it's giving us a chance to completely revamp the script. Hopefully in then end when it's all said and done, Transition will finally get the credit and admiration it deserves.

Until next time,

New Update

Hello everyone, it's been a while since FEV updated this blog.

Currently there are no plans to continue filming "The Adventures of Justin teh noob and Dooblikesweet". Nor are there any plans to continue the "Chronicles of Howard" series. However, FEV will be working closely with the Healing Place Media department on a new project, "I Play Dead" by Demon Hunter.

If anyone is interested in playing a part, please either post here, or contact us via: admin@cardzidood.net

Speaking of that, we have a new site dedicated to FEV. You can check it out at http://www.cardzidood.net

The Chronicles of Howard Episode 3

Here's Episode 3 to our Halo Machinma "The Chronicles of Howard"

The interesting thing about Episode 3, is that part of it was filmed long before we'd come up with the idea of "The Chronicles of Howard" But once we'd started making episode 1 and 2 we though, "Wouldn't it be cool to incorporate this video into the storyline?" So that's what we did, and I'm satisfied with the results.

On a sad note, the camera we use to film, is breaking, and I havne't had ANY time to work on the script for The Adventures of Justin teh Noob and Doodlikesweet.

Busy, busy, busy

What's up everyone? Just thought I'd post to let everyone know that Froob Entertainment is not dead, nor did we forget about our blog. In fact, we're far from dead, and far from forgetting about our blog.

Let me update you on the progress of our newest film; The Adventures of Justin teh Noob and Doodlikesweet.

I've been hard at work converting the original storyline into a script format. Unfortuneatly it's taking a whole lot longer than I'd originally planned. On top of that, I just started college this week. So now I'm only able to do it in my spare time. The original story is around 60 pages long. In fact, in your spare time you can check the progress of the script. Just go to this link and select 'Open'. Remember to refresh your browser's cookies each time you open it, as more may have been added. If you see a role that's not filled and you'd like to play that role, just let myself or Phillip LeBlanc know. (We're also looking for help not only in acting, but camera operating, boom mic holding, prop co-ordinating, etc.)

I've also been hard at work designing and creating all of the 3D models that are going to be used in this film. It's not as easy as one would think! My little Dell Inspiron 2200 can only go so fast! (I'm going to upgrade soon I swear!) If I remember I'll post some screenshots of what you can expect. If you have experience in this sort of thing, let me know!

Last, but not least, we've created a mini series of Halo machinima called "The Chronicles of Howard"

A new way to show movies?

Here at Froob Entertainment, we try our best to give our viewers the best possible viewing experience. We tried youtube, but that does not totally satisfy our need. We have looked into another way into distributing our videos, by hosting them and streaming them ourselves.

You can check out the original Transition movie on our new server here.
We have recently made a few changes to the Transition movie, and we plan to have it up and posted soon.

Here is the updated Transition movie!!! The update includes cutting out a couple of scenes and adding music.
